Roads and Crowds.

I walked about 2 kilometres today and was thinking about making a debut at Rio Olympics, may not be the medal but would definitely get recognition for the most trolled athlete.
I giggled and was walking towards my apartment, an old man was thrashing a cow on the road as it was blocking the way of many vehicles. I was neither angry at the man who was beating it nor sad about the animal getting beaten. I was feeling extremely sorry about the creature which couldn't convey the message to his owner, it was hungry and having some leftovers thrown on the road.
For a change, the incident didn't move me. We have been seeing these kind of animal abuse all our life, so what's new eh? No one really cares.
Many try and then try to act, finally have their favourite lamb fry. I love animals, that doesn't mean am an Vegetarian.
So, later the incident was flashing back and kept me thinking.
Who constructed these Roads?
Why do we humans have supremacy over the land and water?
How are the roads well connected?
Do we deserve this?
Millions of years ago when there was measureless amounts of land and water, the early man started fondling with the new excavations around him, He needed to eat, hunt, sleep and then move. It isn't easy for a half brained Neanderthals to survive at that era, especially when they have to stay put at a place. When it's time to move from their cave to some other dugout, what would help them travel?

It's the Animals!
Humans first tamed animals for protection and used as their navigators. The cattle used to move and slowly the human followed them, it cleared the trees, levelled the bumpy and muddy terrains.
Later we started using carts that are tied to the cattle, which made better paths with the strong wheels.
The rapid Globalisation tattered the slumpy and sloppy routes  and gave birth to the new age tar and cement concrete roads. Then came the highways which changed the trade routes in India altogether, the roads that we are dependent on from our very starting of life to the end, the roads that we think are one of the greatest constructions of human kind were once the hard foundation of cattle, whom by the way aren't allowed on the Highways. I don't blame anyone for not allowing cattle on the Highways by arranging the fence for obvious reasons, because the traffic, humans and lot of manipulative stuff. Isn't it just ironic that the roads that are being laid by the cattle once are not allowed now?
It is almost like banning the Britishers from India in this Century.
Did you ever think why the roads aren't straight most of the time, it takes turns and curves at unexpected ends?
Because those animals were just as curious as we are now. They just didn't want to travel straight.

Taste of Sharks

"I wouldn't be shocked if another politician's name comes up, they're all pompous bastards."

Oh am not the one saying it, it's the man beside me. He looks upset, maybe i should ask him?
Ah maybe not. He's old, tired and upset as i said, remember that one line quote by a strenuous old man?  "Never frustrate an angry man(takes a pause..coughs) and says angry old man".
somehow my tongue was granted permission without my consent and letters rolled out
"which party do you support?"
He gave me that not so bothered look, turned back to the tv remote and was struggling to change channel. I went up and changed the channel
"I don't support any party"he said and took a pause.
"I like when these sharks are caught, the big fishes. These are the one that are to be taken out." he raised his voice and stood up saying these words.
He was looking old with wrinkles yet looked tough and strong minded.
Now that i've broke the ice as big as an ice berg, felt comfortable.
"Can i know your age?" i asked
"I don't remember" he smiled and added
"but this solar night lamp would have been a wonder at my time" he showed the lamp on the shop counter and laughed aggressively, I wasn't startled though.
He sat back and i pulled a chair beside him. Somehow, The facts that i keep hearing about human history fascinates me and if you're looking for them in books, the information is limited. Listening to people who knows what they're talking gives out more.
"Do you think we'll ever get a selfless leader?" i asked
"It's not about getting a selfless leader, people aren't even bothered to go vote. We used to be very patriotic and had lot of respect towards our Country, that kept us together and alive."
"India is not like any other country in this world, it takes a lot of avidity to bring all the cultures and religions together." he said and smiled at my widely opened eyes
"There are people who sleep beside string lights on roads, enjoying the colourful night. It might not feed them, but those lights spark in their eyes. Life's all about happiness kid" took his turban cloth around his neck and tied on his head.
"You might be upset of your dripping Ac & your sister might be of her nail polish colour...."
"how do you know about my sister" i interrupted
"...just giving example" he said and continued..
" Everyone has their own kind of problems and the leader has different kind of problems, who's there to lead?"
" Were you in politics anytime before?" i was almost sure that he was
"I was, stay away from it. waste of time"
"Atleast i know what my grand daughter wants!"he had the biggest smile i've ever seen.
"this elephant ring" he took out a ring out of his pocket and said his Neenu likes it.
He took the mud road, yet he was happy
He is old, yet he feels young.
We take the highway, yet whining continues
We are young, do you feel young?
I came out of the shop and saw a car pass by which had a sticker of spongebob wearing a nerdy glass and it said "Hello Indian" in the bubble at the right top of it. After this tiresome conversation in unhealthy sun would have made me dream of my comfy bed by now, but i kept thinking.
If there isn't patriotism now, why would people thrash previous government in such a shaming way.
Maybe it's one of the ways.
we used to eat food in skulls, few millions of years later plates made of palladium popped up.
World changed, the way people shows patriotism changed.
As of today i have learnt something about Big sharks that're disguised as politicians and how an old man enjoys tasting them, an elephant ring that can bring happiness in little girl's eyes and happiness that never extinguishes travels from heart to heart. Everyday is a new day, every new day is a happy day.

The Neolithic age

"Humanity is overrated"

Hearing this line some may respond as simple and plain 'NO', few enquire asking "compared to who?" and others just agree saying that the world is full of selfish people and hungry for power.
If you ask me, I would like to save myself from this unbridled lunacy. It has been a real long time since we came across some classics, I mean real classics. come on, how far can we keep people like shakespeare and Einstein immortals?  We still have to dig through the history and cling to them for examples. How preposterous !
Nurturing awareness and knowledge as tiny as ant's head resulted to the birth of miracles. With awareness and knowledge as large as Elephant's head, the only miracles we see around are bunch of videos hitting a million views in couple of days. Now, we're not even smarter than an ant and emotionally weaker than an Elephant to be precise.
While the NASA's spacecraft Voyager is on an Interstellar mission and about to cross our Solar system in a couple of years which will show us a complete new dimension of the universe we have ever known, the only missions we care about are "Frozen in time" games.
Earth spins on it's own axis at 460m/s, We on the other hand doesn't spin our thoughts anywhere.
Earth orbits the sun at 30m/s and whirls around the galaxy center at 220m/s. We orbit parents till the age of 22 and whirl around God at 440m/s. Astronomically we travel around 21,639,744km everyday, and us? in real life? seriously? you want me to spell it out?
Ya I heard that.
Maybe that's the reason they say "You may delay, Time will not".
We are still looking for inspiration from someone and end up sulking. There might be people who're happy with what they have but deep down they know it, and they keep saying this " Life's monotonous" or if you prefer humdrum.
Fools fight, Nerds nag, Politicians praise and you?
Don't hide.
Just don't hide under that bloody rock.
Let's take this world back to Neolithic age where the progression of behavioral and cultural characteristics started.
Let's try to fill up some sense in the void created over this inscrutable world, showing the bigger picture that we're missing.
Let's rise like a phoenix and snub the ignorance created.

" India is still a developing country because 70% of married women are not working"

" Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity"
                                                                    - Martin Luther King.Jr
" Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance"
                                                                    - George Bernard Shaw
" The age we are living is Information Age, I hate it here. Let's go back to Neolithic Age"

"Fresh air" deficiency

PROLOGUE

"Nothing is impossible", this is one of the quotes we have been hearing from childhood, that quote ever made sense to you?. There is something which made sense to me and can be called "near impossible", no man leaves this world without falling for someone. We all have had heard enough tales about many great people like bhagat singh, Azad, Vivekananda, Kalam,Vajpayee and Rajni Kanth, am sure they all have their own stories to tell.
Now this is my way of telling you a story of the guy who occupied the place of  leading educationalist and became a famous entrepreneur, who all the way had a girl beside him for whom his heart skipped beat several million times.
He told me this story comparing every real incident of his life to a medical issue and that's how his "fresh air" deficiency started. I was really shocked by the pitch and escalation of the story, he started
" I wasn't able to breath, it was like i was trapped in a air tight container who desperately needed some fresh air.I forcely turned towards a window which was beside me for some air as the girl infront of me was literally shouting my name repeatedly, playing with the book in my hand i answered with a question "WHAT?".
That's the first time i ever suffocated.

Two blinks and an innocent smile

When was the last time you had a hearty laugh? this question reminds you about the friend who made you laugh, probably who studied with you four years. That sure reminded me of my friends from those fantastic four years of my life. If a hearty laugh increases your life span by 5 minutes,am probably immortal now.
I miss those days when Sep and Kalyan came to my room at 9:00am to wake me up for college. Lazily i always thought it was too early to wake up and wonder what the heck these both were doing out in the Sun. Very soon i came to knowledge that i had to go to college and it's to learn BIOTECH.
On the way to college we suddenly avatar ourselves as James Cameroon, SS Rajamouli and Shankar discussing about movies and faults in them. I know it's too much for us to discuss about that but come on who haven't? Now the most person was introduced to all of us,his name was "MR.UNITY". Phones started ringing, It was Amar asking us where we were and informed us that he was waiting near "HUT",as usual i said that we almost reached and will be there in 5 minutes. Now as everyone reached except Amruth,we would race to college from there as if it was a race track. Parking the bikes someone asks the most difficult question of the era "Who is in the class?". Whoever it may be, we never had any interest going to class.
Oh wait !! some one said that he is interested it's Chanakya for attendance obviously.
No one starts talking for the first 10 minutes but then every one reaches the class where Bhanu says something very intelligent which burns our brains to ashes, we would laugh for so long that the joke always ends with Amruth. I silently turned back and observed that Prem was counting the number of days left for next exam,he was very upset that last exams din't end well. With his speech on next exams few get alerted including Raghuveer, Someone should have observed Ravi and Sirish laughing like half aired balloons.
Those kind of discussions never lasted more than 5 minutes.
It's time when Prashanth,Rathod and hungry came to class hand in hand. We bursted into everyones bags and had lunch without disturbing our Professor. I would like to call Chanakya the best student of our class because he always brought two boxes which saved many lives and who does that?
It's time that we update ourself with the new technology of android and other softwares, Rohith started with an application where it leads to games and always games has this superpower of dragging everyone towards no life zone.As kalyan and Rohith battles on their high scores, Raghuveer gives a look and reminds them that he is badass who plays only outdoor sports ;) .  During lunch our walk from class to canteen will be the most entertaining walks i ever had, I would like to fill the happiness of all of us in a time capsule so that the future generations will believe that this kind of happiness existed. When we came back Pavan used to welcome us, he accidentally came to college thinking that Zapak shifted to college and his question always was " WHERE IS HOD?".
Day passes with Pranks on others and few comments from nayeem. Prashanth starts a comment on a girl and discussion goes on,sometimes it gets so interesting that Ram and Pranay  shifted few seats saying "MAMA START AGAIN". Just realised that everyone had  Sehwag hidden in him and played cricket with other branches, i think we won few matches. As we go out of campus another important disussion comes to light that is "WHO IS GIVING PATY TODAY?" . Wasi suggested few places for nice food while some suggested other plans, we finally covered most of places and crashed on bed at God Knows When.

Most people are active during day and becomes lazy at the end of day but we are quite reversal to those species.Sometimes these lovely moments flash before my eyes which make me proud of the moments i had and friends who made me Immortal. You might have heard a lot of stories which ended happily and some sadly but this is a day that ended with "TWO BLINKS AND AN INNOCENT SMILE"  :) :)

Lovely Toes

Nidhi was cleaning floor with her fragile and timid hands brushing against the rough surface, wounds on her fingers grew day by day and she used to see those little fingers, cry heavily and go to bed.Everyday she thought-
"Maybe people like me are used to born for this slavery, there never was destiny created for children like me.
Why can other children go to school and have everything they want, but why can't i go to school like them.I never had chance to play with my grandparents,i don't even know who they are and my parents sold me in this dirty tea stall for money."
She never ever thought her lovely toes and beautiful hands will be filled with wounds.
"I always imagined my Lovely Toes to become more beautiful but huh!.I guess some people really know what this Child Labour is like or they just know how to protest. No one ever came to gift me my freedom back neither the god nor these people protesting"
"My mom always said i will be more beautiful when i grow up but what is happening to me,i have become uglier than ever. It has been never ever since i brushed my hair, i feel bad about touching my own hair.God bless India i don't even how those big shampoos are like" she mumbled sadly.
Her tears were never near to someone else problem.Every morning she used to get up with wet eyes which didn't dry from the before nights tears.Child labour has been a huge problem from like forever, There are over 60 million child labours in India living with us. Unfortunately we see only 2 or 3 around us.Care a little help if you see one, many oraganisations doesn't really help them. Most of the organisations are constructed just to cover black money by many white collars.
Let's develop India as we grow old with her. Make yourself helpful we can fight against corruption later.Wipe off those tears of many boys and girls like Nidhi and bring smile on their face letting them play those Lovely Toes.

The "WHAT IF" theory

The only IF sentence a man like Bill Gates would hate - "WHAT IF i wake up as a beggar in the morning".
The only IF sentence a beggar would love is- "WHAT IF i wake up as billionaire in the morning".
Every single person living on the Earth has their own style of living, some hate it and some cherish it. I feel it very funny looking at the way we lead our lives, did you ever realise how comical your life is?
Why should you be human? Why should you be the person that you are now? In million possibilities you've picked up only one lovely possibility of leading the life this way.
It would be foolish asking you to imagine your life as a beggar, but try it. Where would you be? What would you be? Completely different from the present world you have. Many people would hate to think themselves in some other place with a different family and friends, but it's true that whatever life you picked does have a reason. As of me thinking myself to be in a different position makes me sick !! but wait, what really should have happened to me? I would have leading my life in completely different strategy.
The life i have should be my imagination at that time, my only dream will be looking upto lead this kind of life am heading now.
WHAT IF Steve jobs was just a sewage cleaner?
WHAT IF Michael jackson was crippled?
WHAT IF Abdul Kalam was just some vegetable vendor?
WHAT IF Mahatma Gandhi was some street thug, commiting crimes?
WHAT IF India was never a country and a dark island? and
WHAT IF you never existed?
I feel gifted to be living a happy and enjoyable life, inspite everyone is gifted. Just imagining the other world won't make any single human happy. The time you know the importance of your existence is the moment that would change your life style a lot, Every impossible thing happening around you will be deliberate and you are the reason for it.
Take chances. Life is not about Taking off hope.
Make miracles. Dreaming is not just sleeping.
Find reasons. You have no idea about your next existence.
Give moments. That will make your life chatoyant.
I call it The "WHAT IF" theory which made me think about my mortal life :)
THINK . FEEL SPECIAL . MAKE YOUR WORLD UNIQUE .
"WHAT IF this is the end of my article" :)
